About this Cat
This sweet boy was found in awful condition at the Howard County fairgrounds ... anemic, covered in fleas and lice, and overall just feeling miserable. He was diagnosed with stomatitis, an auto-immune condition that causes mouth inflammation, and had all of his teeth extracted. He is doing so much better now, but unfortunately still has flare-ups that require medication and vet visits. Stomatitis is NOT contagious and is thought to be caused by a prior viral illness. Mayor is extremely sweet and demands love and attention. He has been a trooper through all of his medical care. He loves being with other cats. He is looking for a very special adopter who can accomodate his dental condition and keep him in great shape.
