This sweet and stunning senior lady is Lucy, and she is a vibrant and spirited old girl. She is very affectionate, and loves to be with her people. She will snuggle her head into your leg when she wants love, and she will nudge you with her nose when she’s letting you know that she needs something. She is very smart, and has some commands under her belt. Although she is a senior she is still quite playful, and can often be found playing with her toys. She may enjoy playing with another dog at times, too. Lucy is 9 years old, and she is up to date on all of her veterinary care. She recently had a dental and a mass on her ear removed, and she is fully vaccinated and spayed. She has some arthritis in her back, so she is on a few medications to help her feel her best. Lucy would do best in a home where her people are around a lot so that she has plenty of opportunities to potty throughout the day. She also loves human companionship, so she would love it if her people were around more often than not. One of the things she likes to do with her humans is go for walks. She also loves to explore her yard. We think she could do well with laid back canine companions, but she’s a little too interested in the feline variety to live with them. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lucy (Courtesy)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lucy (Courtesy) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lucy (Courtesy)’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lucy (Courtesy)’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
