Neil is already mastering his basic training and knows commands like “look” and “sit.” He’s still working on his manners around other dogs, but he’s making great progress every day. While some fast-moving things (like bikes) can still startle him, Neil is learning to stay calm and watch them go by — a big milestone for this brave boy! The best part? Neil’s joy is contagious. He literally jumps for joy when he sees his favorite humans! With a little patience and a lot of love, Neil will be an amazing, loyal companion. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Neil's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Neil was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Neil’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
