Boomer arrived at the Brooke County Animal Shelter as a stray -- in fact, he is estimated to be between 8-10 months old. This gorgeous retriever/mix has all the markings of a black coated Golden Retriever and all the makings of an incredible companion and member of a family. Boomer would do best with older, dog-savvy kids. Boomer is good with other dogs and every person he has met. As a young dog, he does want to chase cats to play so a home with no cats would be best. The shelter believes he will make an outstanding pet as he is very affectionate and loves scratches and, of course, treats! The ideal home would be one with a little patience as he adjusts from the stress of being a stray and life in a shelter. After verifying the adoption, Boomer (courtesy post)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Boomer (courtesy post) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Boomer (courtesy post)’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
