Duke and Duchess spent the last year with Barktown recovering from malnourishment and heartworms. They both weigh over 100 lbs now, heartworm free and ready for their forever home! Duke is a sweet boy that doesn't know his size! He is working on manners, but needs someone who can physically handle him, and no small children due to his exuberance and size! We haven't really tested him with other dogs but he seems okay with at least female dogs. We can always work on introductions at meet and greets. Definitely no dogs under 40 lbs. Duke can also be an escape artist and a climber, so be mindful of that. Duke needs love, patience, guidance and training to be the best boy we know he can be. He is VERY lovable! Duchess is large and in charge and needs a family that has experience with big dogs. She needs a home without small children or animals under 40 lbs. Duke and Duchess comes with FREE training with Rosie Dane dog training, thanks to the Pedigree foundation. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Duke & Duchess's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Duke & Duchess was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Duke & Duchess’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
