About this Cat
Contact the foster at, [email protected] came to us as a foster due to kennel stress. He was very leery and suspicious of us as first, living his first two weeks under the couch. He did, however, always use the litter box and Litter Robot and ate and drank when we werenât around. We continued to sit quietly and wait for him to come to us which he eventually did. Now, he greets us every morning and runs to jump in our laps and get some head rubs. He is vocal (but not in an annoying way) and will let us know where he is and when he is out of food or water.Miles is a grey tabby with beautiful markings; neutered; up to date on all shots; about 2 years old, weights 8.5 pounds and is very curious. He loves to sit at the window and watch the squirrels and birds at the feeders. He goes out on the upper level deck and looks out into the garden. He got out into the front yard accidentally once but came right back in after I opened the door and called to him. With patience and training, I suspect he would go on walks without a leash and always follow close. He is very curious about our three dogs and approaches the calm one to swat at her tail. He is extremely playful and purrs readily. He gets along well with other cats. He travels well in the car for the 2-1/2 hour drive to the mountains, sitting calmly in someoneâs lap or in his carrier with the lid open. He will make someone a great house cat.

Adopt MILES and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, MILES's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is MILES's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the MILES, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming MILES's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MILES was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MILES’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the MILES’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MILES’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
