Sugar is a 10 month old female Boxer mix, who is as sweet as her name and ready to sprinkle joy all over your life! This super happy girl is always brimming with energy, making every day an adventure just waiting to happen. She's your go-to gal for making the most of any outing, ready to explore whatever exciting things come your way! Sugar is incredibly playful, and loves to bound around the park, chase toys, and investigate every fascinating new smell. Plus she always enjoys playing with other dogs and romping through the park together. And get this – she's a total water baby! You'll often find her happily trying to play in water bowls or sticking her whole face in them (which explains why she might have a wet face in one of her pictures – too cute!). Beyond her playful antics, Sugar is incredibly sweet and oh-so-lovable. She has such a precious face, and after she's had her zoomies out, she'll happily settle down right next to you, soaking up the sunshine and simply enjoying your company. It’s really hard to resist her looks up at you with complete adoration. If you're looking for an active, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion, Sugar is the one for you. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sugar's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sugar was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sugar’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
