About this Cat
dob 10/25/10 An only cat from the time she was six weeks old, Pandora was 14 when her owner died unexpectedly. Her TC Paw foster home was her third home in four months. By that time, she was understandably fearful and anxious, and she hissed and swatted at anyone approaching her. With time, patience, a sunny room of her own with a window perch, treats, and a slow routine, she has changed, engaging for longer, enjoying strokes, and purring. She has a soft purr. She sits next to her foster family while they watch TV. They call her Pandy. She clearly wants love and affection, though on her terms. She asks for pets and will sit by you. While her foster mom works, Pandy sits on a cushion by the work desk. When she wants affection, you can hug her and kiss her head, but when she’s done, you have to recognize her signals. Her ears and tail are her "tells" when she's done with petting. If you continue, she will turn to nip or scratch to let you know to stop. Pandy likes to play with a dangle toy and a kickstick. Her foster family has food, treats, a kickstick, and litter box to give Pandy’s new family. They love her and would keep her, but they have other pets, and Pandy needs to be an only cat in a quiet adult home with people experienced in reading cat signals. Pandy’s foster mom says the most important thing an adopter needs to know is that she will need time to decompress in the new home, and her trust level may be low at first. Keep her in one room initially. If she's let out into the house immediately, she may hide. Her foster mom is convinced she will come around for an adopter, but patience will be key. Accept her for who she is, meet her on her terms, and you have a wonderful cat. Pandy's foster family welcomes interested applicants to their home to meet her.

Adopt Pandora and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pandora's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Pandora's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Pandora, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Pandora's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pandora was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pandora’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Pandora’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pandora’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
