About this Dog
My adoption fee is $300 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped. The rescue will pay for the injections for HW treatment at Shoreline Vet. in Jacksonville. My adopter would be responsible for the take home meds which average about $200, depending on size, over the 4-month span of treatment. I am heartworm positive, but don't worry, you can still love me! She has been great around adults but has not been tested around children. She and been great around older dogs. She has been reactive to smaller dogs by barking at them. She gets along good with my younger hyperactive dog 99% of the time but does start to get mouthy with him when he is extremely excited. She is mostly house trained if she gets the opportunity to use the bathroom outside. The first few days in a new environment she did use the bathroom in the house but that has stopped now that she is comfortable. She eats with no problem and is not food aggressive and Will let me put my hand in her food bowl as she is eating. She does good on leash and loves to ride in a car. If the car is higher up, she will have to have help getting in. She has not made any attempt to get on the furniture and does not attempt to play with toys. She does love having a nice comfortable dog bed at night and does well with a routine. She has not been a fan of a crate she prefers to lounge around the house. She does like to follow people around so wherever you go she will be right there by your side.

Adopt Ethel and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ethel's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ethel's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ethel, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ethel's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ethel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ethel’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Ethel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ethel’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
