What did we do on todayâs adventure:Newt was all wiggles and tail wags as soon as I picked him up! He tried to climb into the front seat for kisses but then settled in the back, watching the road like a little co-pilot. On our walk, he loved exploring at the end of the leash, taking breaks to roll in the grass or rest in the shade. At one point, he planted himself in a flower bush, making for a perfectly picturesque moment. We took a long break at the park, and he sat right next to me, resting his paw or head on my leg, happily soaking up pets and ear rubs. What should potential adopters know about me:Newt is a three-year-old mixed breed dog who is affectionate and loves playing with toys. He has the cutest over bite, which gives him a charming Snoopy-like appearance. Newt is motivated by treats and knows how to sit. While he could benefit from some leash training, he would thrive in a home where he can enjoy daily walks or spend time in the yard with you. After verifying the adoption, NEWT's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and NEWT was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, NEWT’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, NEWT’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
