Handsome FALCON joined us after he was rescued last year as a stray on the streets and no humans to call his own... He is a lovebug who adores attention from humans!! He does, however, need to join a family with no small children, as he occasionally gives strong love nips. His foster mom knows to tell him "no" and waits for him to quickly turn her loose without breaking any skin - however an inexperienced cat owner or child, may try to pull away too quickly. FALCON loves laps and being near people, and he also enjoys the company of other cats! As a big boy he can be a bit intense for very timid foster kitties in his home, but for others who are confident or who have given him the paw of "nope dude!", he is very laid back! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, FALCON's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and FALCON was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, FALCON’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the FALCON’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, FALCON’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
