Amanda is a very shy girl who lived outside before coming to the shelter. She is curious about her new surroundings, and will come investigate. She has been in our care for a few months, and after having little to no interaction with humans prior to her arrival, wow has she came a long ways! She is now asking for pets, and is more trusting. She has made a complete transformation with patience, so we want her new home to be understanding of that! She is playful, and if you have a broom and get it close, every time she will play swat at it. A mop too! Not an angry swat, just a friendly "I will get it" swat. It is rather cute to watch. We have also seen her playing by herself with some new toys that come into the room. She has the energy and means to play and have a great time, she just needs lots of patience, and a quiet household with minimal distractions and visitors until she can adjust to her new surroundings. Patience is key when it comes to most animals, and especially important with ones with little human contact. Amanda is a smart young lady, and will approve of anyone who has the patience to help her trust humans. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Amanda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Amanda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Amanda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
