Meet Lucy and her high school sweetheart, Louie! Lucy is special! She enjoys being in the same room as humans, even sleeping at the foot of the bed or watching TV with humans. She has recently started enjoying pets and will give a mile high elevator butt when you get to her back. She loves chin scratches too, but petting her has to be on her terms! When she feels extra safe she will even show her belly for a few scratches. Louie on the other hand LOVES affection. This is a pair that will bring joy to your home as they can be quite entertaining as they play together and lounge together. Lucy will chirp for Louie if he gets to far out of her sight. Louie really is a sweet guy and is quite a gentleman. He has helped scared little Lucy learn to be brave. He has been her protector and her friend. Louie LOVES laying on his back and showing his belly, he doesn't even mind belly rubs. He can be found lounging or hanging out with Lucy or his human. Louie also loves dinner time and treats! Give them a chance and you will have faithful companions!! Louie has tested positive for FIV. Because of their special bond we would hope he can go home with his special female companion Lucy. Louie does NOT do well with dogs. Louie does not actually do well with any other cats except Lucy! Approximate Birthday: 10/01/2022 Adoption Fee: $ 75.00 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption. Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed. Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lucy G was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lucy G’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
