Radish is a 1 year old, spayed, female malinois located in the Chicago, Illinois area. She is fully vaccinated and heart worm negative. Radish is a confident, energetic girl who loves nothing better than exploring the woods with her canine friends. She is social with both humans and dogs, although she still has that puppy exuberance, so she will need a patient adult dog as a playmate. Radish has a high prey drive and is not suitable for a home with cats or other small animals. Radish has some baggage from her previous life so a home well versed in positive reinforcement is a must. Radish has learned to have a good off switch once she has been exercised and is content to take a nap or chew on a toy. Radish has dabbled in agility, canicross and some tracking/scent work and would enjoy any or all of those sports. She is an affectionate girl who loves her pets. Radish has some handling sensitivities that have diminished with management and training, which is why a home in the northern Illinois area is preferred. That way she will be able to continue private lessons (at no charge) with her foster, a professional dog trainer. Radish needs an active, experienced home. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Radish-IL's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Radish-IL was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Radish-IL’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
