Special Needs: Daily heart medication ($18 per month) Kevin’s photos say so much about his past. It is clear this boy has been let down before but we at RMGDRI want to help turn things around and provide the love and medical care Kevin deserves. We are in need of a special foster family willing to support his recovery. Because we have limited information on Kevin, the ideal home will have no other dogs or cats. We will consider older, dog savvy teenagers but given limited history, a home with children is not ideal. Like most shelter surrenders, we have limited information on Kevin. We know based on a vet examination, he will have significant health needs. We as a rescue will cover his medical care. We need a loving foster home that has the ability to take him to doctor appointments as needed and provide whatever medical care is required in the home. We would like to get him out of the shelter as soon as possible. Kevin will likely remain on medical hold (foster) status with the rescue due to his health needs. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kevin's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kevin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kevin’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Kevin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kevin’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
