About this Dog
*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Look at those curls! - Mirabelle is a gorgeous and lovable Great Pyrenees looking for her forever home! She's a sweet, affectionate companion who loves to be involved in all family activities. With her medium-high energy level, she's both active and cuddly, making her the perfect balance for an engaged family. Mirabelle is crate trained and has good house manners. She's currently learning leash skills and will “sit” for a treat. She's very food-motivated and eager to please. Like most Pyrs, she will alert to visitors and neighborhood activity through barking. Mirabelle is incredibly affectionate and famous for her "Pyr Paw" - she loves to give her paw for attention and leans in for pets. She's extremely loyal and enjoys following her person around the house to stay close. While she initially barks at home visitors, she quickly becomes their best friend after a few minutes of introduction. She's confident in new environments, having done well at the groomer's and with strangers outside the home. This smart lady needs a secure 4' fence with locked gates, as she's clever enough to open simple latches! She requires separate feeding from other pets to avoid her feeling like she has to protect her food. Mirabelle enjoys canine companionship and playtime with other dogs. She doesn't mind the resident cats but will chase if excited, though not aggressively - she just wants to play. Her living situation is flexible as she enjoys both indoor and outdoor time equally. Mirabelle would thrive with someone who's home often and enjoys having a constant companion. She'd be perfect for people who appreciate her affectionate nature and are willing to give frequent pets and attention. While she would do well as an only dog, she also enjoys having a canine friend to play with. Her new family will be rewarded with endless love and loyalty from this wonderful girl!
