Matilda was found by an office building on a rainy day. She was sopping wet and letting everyone know how upset she was to be alone and drenched! A young man working at the office just couldn't leave her, so he scooped her up to get her to safety and dried her off....after he watched to make sure mom was not around. Matilda was alone for a few weeks then she was joined by Dash. They hit it off instantly and have enjoyed each others company ever since. They play, roll and tumble, steal toys back and forth and get cozy together every night. Dash is her buddy and they would love to be adopted together.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Matilda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Matilda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Matilda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Matilda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Matilda’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
