Holly: Sweet Talker. Laser Chaser. Feather Fanatic. Hi, I’m Holly—your future BFF and loyal little shadow. I may be a tortie, but don’t let the reputation fool you. I’m more sugar than spice, with a soft heart and a gentle purr. I was rescued as a kitten from a backyard in San Francisco, and while I can be a little shy when we first meet, I warm up quickly—especially if you’ve got Churus. I’ll greet you at the door, rub against your legs like we’ve known each other forever, and settle in close for head scritches, belly rubs, and some quality hangout time. I’m playful, curious, and always ready for action when the laser pointer or feather toy comes out. My favorite? Peacock feathers disappearing under a blanket—it’s my version of a treasure hunt. I’m quick, agile, and a bit of an acrobat when the mood strikes. A few rousing play sessions are the fastest way to earn my trust. When I’m not hunting imaginary bugs or chasing lights, I love sitting by the window to watch the world go by. I’ve got an independent streak, but I’m also a total softie. Sometimes you’ll find me curled up with my sister Freda—we do enjoy a good snuggle session when the vibes are right. I’d thrive as a solo cat, with a friendly feline companion, or adopted alongside Freda (if you're into double the tortie magic). Adopt Holly and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Holly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Holly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Holly’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Holly’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
