He’s affectionate, people-friendly, cat-appropriate, and knows a whole bunch of commands like sit, down, paw, spin, step up, and more! Mikey is: Crate trained Housebroken Calm in the car Good on a leash (with some initial excitement!) Up to date on vaccines Easy to train and eager to please Great with cats (slow intros still recommended!) He LOVES long walks, hikes, toys, and snuggles—and while he plays hard, he also loves hard. Mikey does best with adults or older kids (12+) who can help him stick to his routine and understand his quirks. He’s working through some resource guarding with his amazing foster family, and with structure and patience, he's thriving! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mikey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mikey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mikey’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mikey’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
