Wanda was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 9/9/24 when no once came to claim her and she was due to be euthanized. When she arrived, she was very afraid and defensive. We gave her a couple of weeks to get used to MCHS and she has started to purr, play and roll around to show off her belly. We think she's great! Wanda is about 5 years old. She is spayed and current on shots. She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV. Her adoption fee is $80 and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS. To meet Wanda or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application. We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Wanda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wanda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wanda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wanda’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund.
