About this Horse
Riddle came to us in the beginning of the summer emaciated and on the verge of death. He had no muscle mass and could hardly stand by himself. He was covered in rain rot and wounds and required daily medicated baths. He stood so well for all his care and treatments, and we knew that if Riddle came out of his rehabilitation alive, he would be a little diamond in the rough. It took a lot of work and strict diets, but eventually, Riddle started to gain weight. His wounds began to heal and before we knew it, he could stand by himself! After a few months of love, care, and lots of good food, our Riddle made it out of the quarantine barns and was ready for his next chapter at Longmeadow! Upon evaluation, our trainer found that Riddle was briefly started before coming to us. He had good ground manners and stood tied for grooming and tacking up. He does paw at the ground a bit when he gets impatient, but we believe that habit can be fixed quickly with some groundwork training. He needs some guidance under the saddle, but he is a smart horse who we believe will learn quickly with professional training and then could be a good fit for a solid intermediate rider. He spent months being ponied on trail rides while carrying a light pack to improve his strength and fitness. He is calm on the ground and doesnât spook easily.Riddle really did get a second chance at life, and he is living every day like he knows it. He gets along well with other horses but does prefer to be a more dominant herd member. He LOVES attention from people, almost as much as he loves bath time. Riddle has come such a far way from the emaciated horse we saw when he arrived, and we are so proud of him and his recovery! We canât wait to see where his second chance at life leads him! Height: 14 hhAdoption Fee: $800Maximum carrying weight: 150 lbs (tack plus rider)

Adopt RIDDLE and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, RIDDLE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is RIDDLE's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the RIDDLE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming RIDDLE's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and RIDDLE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, RIDDLE’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the RIDDLE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, RIDDLE’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
