Meet Monteray! This beautiful boy is around 1-2 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. He has a vibrant personality and is an absolute gentleman with the other dogs he meets. Monteray loves to play. He really enjoys showing off his special rock; if you come by he will certainly show it to you, such a proud boy! He is crate-trained but is always happy to accept an invitation for a cozy cuddle during nap time. After a long day at work, he enjoys hearing about your day and will happily share tales of his own. Monteray loves playing with squeaky toys, especially balls, and delights in a game of fetch. If he can’t find a ball, he will entertain himself by rolling rocks, which makes him incredibly happy. He also enjoys car rides.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Monteray's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Monteray was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Monteray’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Monteray’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
