Oliver Twist (Twist for short) LOVES to play! He does great with submissive or neutral dogs after slow introductions! He would benefit from a fenced yard and active family as he loves to run around and play outside. He loves a good game of tug and lives by the motto “ball is life”! He is is a sweet boy who loves people and loves being near his person. Due to his past, he seems to have some separation and confinement anxiety, especially in a crate. He will do best as a single dog or possibly very, very slow introductions with a very submissive or neutral female dog. He does seem to have a prey drive towards smaller animals so he needs a home with no cats or small animals. He loves to play tug and chase after a ball. He’s a very playful guy! He would probably be best in a home environment rather than an apartment due to him being a hound mix that likes to occasionally use his big voice. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Oliver Twist's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oliver Twist was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oliver Twist’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
