Charlotte est arrivée au Réseau Secours Animal en mai 2021 après avoir été sauvée de la rue dans le quartier d'Anjou à Montréal. Elle n'avait même pas un an à l'époque et avait été nourrie à l'extérieur depuis son enfance par une personne bienveillante du quartier. Charlotte n'a pas du tout aimé son arrivée au refuge... Elle était terrorisée et ne comprenait pas ce qu'il se passait autour d'elle. Afin de faciliter sa socialisation, nous l'avons transférée en famille d'accueil où elle a fait beaucoup de progrès. Malheureusement, sa famille d'accueil n'a pas pu la garder sur le long terme et Charlotte est revenue au refuge où elle a beaucoup régressé. Heureusement, aujourd'hui, la petite Charlotte nous fait confiance! Trois ans de travail acharné qui payent enfin! Elle n'est plus passive ou effrayée à notre vue. Elle apprécie maintenant qu'on lui caresse la tête doucement et pousse son petit nez contre notre main pour nous exprimer cette joie nouvelle qu'elle a de se faire caresser. Elle ne se laisse évidemment pas encore manipulée et reste craintive, mais nous savons que Charlotte a du potentiel pour poursuivre sa belle progression. Elle aime jouer et manger des gâteries avec parcimonie. Elle a développé des allergies alimentaires depuis son arrivée au refuge donc elle mange une diète hypoallergène. Elle apprécie les gens doux et patients avec elle. Elle s'entend bien avec les autres chats, mais ne pourra pas habiter avec des chiens ou des enfants. Elle a besoin d'une famille calme qui suivra son rythme tout en essayant de l'amener à s'épanouir encore plus auprès des humains. Elle est vraiment une petite chatte douce qui a besoin de temps pour retrouver ses repères. Charlotte est un chat adulte, donc les frais d'adoption pour elle sont de 290$. Elle est stérilisée, vaccinée, micropucée et négative pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Unfortunately, her foster family was unable to keep her long-term and Charlotte returned to the shelter, where she regressed considerably. Fortunately, today, little Charlotte trusts us! Three years of hard work are finally paying off! She's no longer passive or frightened at the sight of us. She now appreciates our gentle stroking of her head, and pushes her little nose against our hand to express her new-found joy at being stroked. Of course, she still doesn't allow herself to be handled, and remains fearful, but we know that Charlotte has the potential to continue her fine progress. She loves to play and eat treats sparingly. She has developed food allergies since arriving at the shelter, so she eats a hypoallergenic diet. She appreciates people who are gentle and patient with her. She gets on well with other cats, but will not live with dogs or children. She needs a calm family who will follow her rhythm while trying to get her to blossom even more with humans. She's a really sweet little cat who needs time to find her bearings. Charlotte is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Charlotte's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Charlotte was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Charlotte’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
