She was placed on medication and received medicated baths twice a week until her skin condition cleared up. She has huge patches were the fur hasn't grown back, and may never grow back. But what Leah lacks in fur, she makes up in love and devotion. She is one of the most loving dogs I've ever seen. She just wants to be with people and touching them. We've been working with her on basic commands like sit and stay and leash training. She would still need some more training when she finds her forever home, but she's very responsive and eager to please. She would make a great hiking or running buddy. And... we like to say that Leah's skin where the fur hasn't grown back feels like an expensive buttery leather. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Leah's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Leah was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Leah’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
