MEET BOOMER! Boomer is a 90 lb gentle giant who’s looking for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and understood. Rescued from the euthanasia list at county due to a treatable eye infection, Boomer arrived scared and unsure — but with time and patience, he’s been growing more confident every day. He’s house trained, crate trained, and loves lounging poolside or cruising in the car. He enjoys sunbathing, snuggling his humans, and bringing you his toys to start a game. He’ll also happily entertain himself by making up his own silly games. Boomer is full of goofy charm (yes, he’s afraid of his own farts) and affection, but he’s still learning how to process boredom or loneliness — which can lead to destructive behavior if left unchecked. He needs a patient, experienced owner who can continue building his confidence and help him understand that love and attention are always there, even when you're not in the same room. Boomer also has some special medical needs: he receives a Cytopoint injection every eight weeks for allergies and requires daily wrinkle wipes to keep his face healthy. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BOOMER's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BOOMER was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BOOMER’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
