Hi, I'm Duchess! I'm a smart and resourceful kitty who's settling into the indoor life beautifully. I love having a cozy spot to call my own, tasty food to enjoy, and a warm bed to snuggle in. My favorite time of day is when my foster mom sits on the floor to pet me—I’ll even rub against her leg to ask for more attention! I’m a fan of scratching posts and always use my litterbox like the well-mannered lady I am. While I’m still learning to trust new people and can be a little shy at first, I’m sure to blossom with patience and a calm environment. I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but maybe that will change over time as I continue to build my confidence. I’d love to have another cat friend in my forever home—they help me feel more secure and show me the ropes. I haven’t met kids yet, so I’d probably do best in a quieter home where I can adjust at my own pace. If you think we’d be a good match, I’d love to meet you! Adopt Duchess and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Duchess's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Duchess was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Duchess’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
