Blue has a very sad story. He was originally abandoned with another dog (honey on our website) by his owners. They were left on the streets to fend for themselves when the owners moved away and the new renters wanted to have nothing to do with these dogs. A Good Samaritan wanted to save them and called animal control thinking she was doing right by them. What ended up happening was animal control picked them up and because they’re not used to being manhandled on a catchpole they were quickly deemed unadoptable, and set to be euthanized if Rescue did not step up. We stepped in to help get them to safety Blue is great with other dogs, and very sweet with people. He’s very playful and just needs a chance with someone who will love him and be patient with him. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Blue **courtesy post's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Blue **courtesy post was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Blue **courtesy post’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
