Rodrick is a 56-pound mixed-breed sweetheart who forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. While we’re not sure of his exact breed mix, our behaviorist suspects he might have some Carolina Dog in him — though really, Rodrick is a proud super mutt, which just makes him super special! Rodrick delights in life’s simple pleasures: playing with his canine foster sister, riding in the car, taking long walks, cuddling up for movie nights or sports games, and being the best work-from-home companion around. He’s a smart boy, too — he’s already nailed “Sit” and is currently working on “Down,” “Place,” and name recall. Though incredibly loving once he trusts you, Rodrick is still learning that the world is a safe place. New people, sudden changes, and busy environments can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, he’s already made great progress with the help of a trainer and a very dedicated foster dad. He’s gaining confidence every day. Rodrick will thrive in a calm, predictable home with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. But once he bonds, he bonds for life — and you won’t find a more loyal, devoted friend. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rodrick's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rodrick was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rodrick’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
