Meet Iris she’s approx a year old Lab Kelpie mix pup and around 40lbs. She is a sweet soul that walks beautifully on a leash and gently takes treats from new people. She is curious by nature and loves sniffing everything. Her love language is quality time and she thrives on companionship. Once she gets to know you, she will never leave your side. She gets along with other dogs but loves playing with her brother, Mica (also available for adoption) and prefers to hang out with her humans instead. Her ideal home will be with someone that will continue to work on building her confidence and be patient with her showing you how great of a dog she is. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Iris's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Iris was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Iris’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Iris’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
