She is your typical cat, loves to sun bath and watch the birds from the window. She will scream if you do not feed her in time. Her favorite activity is to wiggle doors if you do not let her in the same room as you, and she loves to open cabinets and closets. She prefers fishy foods over chicken. She doesn’t really like to be held, but occasionally she does love so snuggle. She has the loudest purr. She has her favorite spots in the house and will stare you down if something is in her way, she is the queen of the house. She LOVES shoes, she will bury her whole head into your shoes, no matter how smelly they are. She also loves to play with the dog as well. And loves her puzzle toys.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Athena's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Athena was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Athena’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Athena’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
