DOB: 7/21/2021 This sweet girl has had a bit of a journey. She was recently returned to our care after some challenges in her previous home, and while we understand not every match is the right one, we’re now hoping to find her the home she truly deserves — one that understands her needs and celebrates her for who she is. She’s a loving cat once she feels safe, and she absolutely adores belly rubs and being brushed (just maybe skip her back — it’s not her favorite). She knows her name, especially if you say it in a high-pitched voice, and will come running for a little affection and conversation. She does well with calm male cats but isn’t a fan of loud, chaotic spaces or young children. A peaceful, stable home where she can bloom at her own pace would be ideal. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Nala's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nala was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nala’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
