Patchouli est arrivée au Réseau Secours Animal avec ses frères et soeurs en 2020. Elle a été adoptée en tant que chaton en mai 2020, au début de la pandémie. Plus de 3 ans plus tard, sa famille nous a contacté pour ramener Patchouli au refuge puisqu'ils ne désiraient maintenant plus s'en occuper et trouvaient qu'un chat était encombrant... Pauvre Patchouli. Elle était terrorisée...Comment lui faire comprendre que sa famille, celle qui l'a nourrie et s'est occupée d'elle pendant 3 ans a maintenant décidé de la ramener? Heureusement, elle a vite compris qu'elle était entre de bonnes mains. Elle avait des plaies sur le corps et nous avons compris qu'elle avait des allergies alimentaires qui n'avaient pas été prises en charge par son ancienne famille. Finalement c'est une bonne chose que Patchouli soit revenue chez nous! Patchouli n'est pas très heureuse de devoir partager ses humains du refuge avec les autres chats, donc elle préférera trouver une famille sans autres chats. Elle nous aime beaucoup par contre, ça ce n'est pas un problème! Elle aime se coucher sur nos genoux et nous faire des câlins. Elle roucoule facilement pour nous dire bonjour. Elle se laisse bien manipulée lorsqu'elle n'est pas stressée par les autres chats. En février 2024, Patchouli a été adoptée une 2e fois par une famille au courant de ses allergies. Toutefois, elle nous a ramené Patchouli début 2025 nous mentionnant qu'elle était défectueuse. Patchouli mérite maintenant de retrouver une famille qui l'aimera et la gardera cette fois pour toute la vie! Patchouli est un chat adulte, donc les frais d'adoption pour elle sont de 290$. Elle est stérilisée, vaccinée, micropucée et négative pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF) ainsi que la leucose féline (FeLV). Des assurances santé de 6 semaines viennent avec son adoption. Vous pourrez avoir recours à l'aide de l'équipe des adoptions aussi longtemps que nécessaire. She had sores on her body and we realized that she had food allergies that had not been taken care of by her former family. In the end, it's a good thing Patchouli came back to us! With her specialized food, things are slowly returning to normal. Patchouli isn't very happy about having to share her humans from the shelter with the other cats, so she'd rather find a family without other cats. She loves us a lot though, so that's not a problem! She loves to lie on our laps and cuddle. She coos easily to say hello. She's easy to handle when she's not stressed by other cats. In February 2024, Patchouli was adopted a 2nd time by a family aware of her allergies. However, they brought Patchouli back to us in early 2025, mentioning that she was defective. Patchouli now deserves to find a family who will love her and keep her this time for life! Patchouli is an adult cat, therefore the adoption fees for her are $290. She is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation during the first 3 months following the adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ). Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Patchouli's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Patchouli was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Patchouli’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
