Champ is a sweet senior guy looking for an easy going forever home. Champ came to rescue after having been dumped by a previous owner, he was left alone outside with no way to defend himself as he had been 4-paw declawed at some point in his adult life. We find Champ to be a warm and friendly cat, he happily greets you with an arched back and requests more pets when you give him some attention. Champ will love having an owner that can brush and groom his beautiful long fur, as he has aged he doesn't do the job that he used to on keeping his coat looking its best. Champ has not yet found any other cats that can he get along with, we have tried introductions with other equally laid back seniors and find him to be continually agitated so he may be best suited as an only cat. No young children for Champ, please! Champ's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and FeLV/FIV testing. Champ requires an indoor only home, if you would like to meet him please submit an adoption application through our website. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any current/former pets altered, as indoor pets only and kept current on annual vaccines and vet visits. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Champ's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Champ was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Champ’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Champ’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund.
