About this Dog

We have to surrender a black Labrador (she) who is spayed.
Dog - Bitch (Poppy) is black Labrador, approx 5yrs 6months old. Born May 2016. Last vaccination 28th April 2022. She is also KC registered.
She likes to be in charge, run and investigate but does not like cats/birds and that. She would benefit from a household with older children.
She is spayed and it would have been 2016 but we don't have the exact date.
Our daughter, her two young children and their small dog have moved in with us. Poppy although not aggressive in any way is jealous of the attention we need to provide to the children. Sadly as a group of three it is just not manageable and we are also tight for space.
Also it is not fair on Poppy as we can not meet her needs.

How will Poppy receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Poppy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Poppy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Poppy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Poppy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Poppy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Poppy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
