About this Dog
I’m struggling to find somewhere safe for my Jet to be rehomed, me and my partner seen her when she was 4/half month old. She came from a bad breeder and was raw fed at that age and abused. So her temperament isn’t 100% and by the time we got her she was already so nervous around new people. As she’s got older it has gotten worse sadly. We’ve tried certain things and tried advice from trainers but with her being a cane she is very protective. We have had a lot of trainers also say she is trainable, but due to me having an Autistic step daughter, her barking 100% all the time at people and trying to nip people that come into our home gets abit too much. She’s 100% safe around her own family ( the two children, one being 3 and the other being 7 years old ) she knows how to be gentle and she’s never ever attacked one of her own. When walking if she sees someone she will react and I’ll have to walk away with distance to pass others. She is crate and muzzle trained around people and we have tried to socialise her as much as possible. since we rescued her ourselves, she did also have suspected parvo with the previous owners but she got treatment at the time and luckily survived. So she has came with a lot of trauma that we didn’t 100% know about. She’s dopey and funny and is very lovable! But she’s also very miss understood. She needs someone with the time and space that she deserves and unfortunately due to more circumstances than what I’ve explained I’ve had to come to this decision. With her being nervous overtime she can warm up to people but time is all she needs. Her behaviours with the aggression is due to her not knowing people and feeling threatened by them. She’s very nervous and she makes it known when someone she doesn’t know comes into her home to it being a post man or a parcel or even our long term friends that she don’t see very often she will still feel a threat. With people she already knows she’s never ever 100% switched to attacking anyone but I wouldn’t put your trust in her until you know she comfortable around you. She’s definitely the type of dog a person without kids needs around. Shes so so attached to me as it is and knowing that she’ll grow on someone else too. Shes cuddles and jumps in mummy’s spot in the bed in the morning to get an hour cuddles before she comes back up from a school run and sleeps with me and goes to her own bed at night when it’s bedtime to having eggs and veggies in the morning at breakfast time, to playing with me and having a zoomy hour around the living room. Shes never do harm to someone she 100% trusts. She’s precious and deserves a chance at life as many dogs like my Jet does. I really hope she can have this and someone is willingly wanting to make time for her :(. It’s gotten out of my control with her issues due to her having trust issues she won’t trust anybody. I’ve tried every none kill shelters and because of her issues they’re not wanting to help. :( If you don’t accept dogs with these types of traits or behaviours issues would you or could you maybe recommend anywhere other than the kennel so I know she isn’t getting put to sleep or harmed but only looked after and giving a chance of life. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jet was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jet’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Jet’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jet’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
