About this Cat
I’ve had Kai since he was born around late 2011/early 2012. His mother was an outside cat who belonged to a friend of mine. He’s used to being around a lot of people as I have a very big family but he is generally a very independent cat. He is lovable after building some trust but can be very stand-off and even skittish at times. May hide or flinch and hiss and even swat and scratch. Kai DOES NOT GET ALONG WELL WITH OTHER ANIMALS. He is a very big boy and refuses to eat wet food. He has a sensitive stomach and will puke if he does not particularly like the brand of food or if he does not have enough water. He can be VERY vocal in the morning. He loves to climb on things and due to his size he may knock things over however not intentionally. He unfortunately LOVES to scratch leather and wood. He also has a weak spot for plastic bags so they should be kept out of reach. I want to be as honest and transparent about him to be sure no one will take him and then dump him for his habits or personality. He will require attention and care and above all patience. Re-homing him is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make so please believe I’ve Exhausted all other options. He really is a good boy once you get to know him and keen to emotions. He is always there to lift me up when I’m down. He loves to be pet at but WILL bite you if he becomes too excited or overstimulated. He deserves a home that can offer him more space to move, climb and lounge with more human interaction during the day. He is an indoor cat and generally seems to have outgrown play but will roll and run around occasionally. He is also neutered. Above all he needs attention and lots, and lots of love. I just want him to have the best life possible and due to some unforeseen circumstances I can no longer provide for him.

After verifying the adoption, Kai's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kai was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kai’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
