About this Cat
Sadly Phoebe has very recently been diagnosed as having Asthma. Following vetinary examination and tests the diagnosis of asthma whilst confirmed indicates that the heart and other organs of the her body are sound. What Phoebe now requires is regular treatment to maintain her quality of life.
Unfortunately I have problems in providing her the treatment she needs on a long term basis. To explain I am in my eighties I have developed a number of ailments myself including arthritis in my hands to the point that I am not able for example, to administer a tablet for her to swallow. Oral medication of course being one of the preferred and economic options. As that route of treatment is closed I have had to opt for the more expensive treatment by injections at the vet's.
Regrettably I cannot sustain this expenditure any longer. It would break my heart to have to put to sleep this adorable girl. Other than Asthma she is sound.
Phoebe is 6 years old, beautiful temperament, loving and adorable. I am looking for a kind person who can provide Phoebe with the care and attention that she needs.

Adopt Phoebe and Receive Phoebe's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Phoebe's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Phoebe receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Phoebe, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Phoebe's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Phoebe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Phoebe’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Phoebe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Phoebe’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
