About this Cat
We have had Pepe since she was 1 Yr old, she is now 6yrs old. She came from a domestic abuse home and was very scared of males. She is ok with my husband now.
Unfortunately we need to rehome her as she is destroying our new chairs. We have moved home and spent a fortune decorating and on furniture. We knew we would have a problem with her scratching walls when she moved into the new house, so we only let her in when someone could watch her. Unfortunately when we've gone to the toilet or gone to make a brew, she has scratched the chairs.
She is a very loving cat. She loves cuddles and sleeping on your lap. She doesn't play for long, she gets bored and wants to sleep. We think she may not have been taught to play as a kitten.
She wants to be an indoor cat and is used to a cat flap.
She was brought up on Felix pouches but we moved her on to Purina Biscuits and cheap Tuna. She will eat a bit of chicken, but isn't a massive fan.
She isn't intelligent. She will chase a bird, but if it retaliates she runs off scared. She doesn't like raised voices, the noise of plastic bags , bangs, fireworks. She will investigate visitors in the house but runs off scared if we or a stranger tries to stroke her outside.
We have guinea pigs and a tortoise and she gets on with them, but can get a bit jealous at times. She gets on with children. My children were 6 and 9 yrs old when she came to us. She was scared of the chickens.
She has no health conditions. She used to have Frontline flea drops, but they stopped being effective so we've been treating her with Stronghold from the vets.

Adopt PEPE and Receive PEPE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, PEPE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will PEPE receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the PEPE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming PEPE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and PEPE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, PEPE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the PEPE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, PEPE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
