About this Dog

Vinnie is 9 months old and is a very loving dog but has his difficulties due to his size and some early issues meaning he couldn’t get the correct socialisation. He was sold to us without the premise of any abuse or trauma but it very quickly became obvious he has had an abusive household from a young age and potentially child trauma too and that’s something that has been very difficult to train out of him. He has not been responding well to socialisation around children and isn’t extremely comfortable with children present due to the trauma and erratic nature of them. He is very high need but also very obedient and trainable, he has difficulties with noise which I assume came from an early age which he still struggles with. He isn’t super fond of other dogs or strangers but has been being trained to tolerate them better but isn’t quite there yet. He would need a home with his needs met consistently and lots of experience with dogs that have fear/anxious behaviours surrounding a few different things. He is crate trained and knows a plethora of commands and minus his triggers, he follows them very well.

How will Vinnie receive the contribution?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Vinnie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Vinnie's contribution here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Vinnie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Vinnie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Vinnie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Vinnie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
