About this Dog
Albus needs a new home, we love him to bits but he keeps trying to attack a small child in the house (has bitten him 8 times, drawn blood 5 times) and he’s drawn blood 3 times on an adult (last time required hospital treatment) and to a visiting adult family member. Albus has attacked our tiny mini dachshund female by her throat and shook her violet (luckily he caught her collar) Sooner or later, someone is going to get seriously hurt.
We are rehoming him for all the right reasons, he started to bite and be anxious around 10 months old and it has gotten worse from then. He’s had different dog trainers but always reverted back to violent behaviour. No dog trainer will train him as he’s now been classified as a red zone dog. He can’t be neutered as no vet will do it through his aggressive behaviour and not being able to be intubated for an operation with a muzzle on.
We do not want him PTS, we’re looking for a no kill rescue that could take him and rehabilitate him to enable him to live in a child free household (children are a major trigger with Albus)
All we want is for him is to eventually go to a loving home and that home needs to be the right environment for him. Please understand this desicion hasn’t been an easy one and it’s a very sad situation all round.

How will Albus receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Albus, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Albus's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Albus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Albus’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Albus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Albus’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
