About this Dog
Skye has some issues and has had them since I’ve had her from 6 weeks old .. she shakes with strangers.. even her dog walker who has taken her out for month she shakes.. I’ve tried anxiety pills from the vets .. but they don’t work .. if she doesn’t know u she will bark and lunge towards h if u go near her .. but once she get to know u she’s fine .. she gets on with cats and other dogs .. she is just like her father who has the same behaviour.. so the vet thinks it’s genetic.. Skye needs a one to one owner .. my dog sitter is finding it difficult to look after her while I’m at work as I never leave her alone for a long time .. she doesn’t deserve to be put to sleep and that is my main worry.. but I have to make this decision to re home.. I’ve also been in contact with dog trainers that work with reactive dogs .. but they r really expensive and I just can’t afford 200 pounds a hour .. I hope u can help Skye as she is s lovely dog once she get to know u .. kind regards Kathy

How will Skye receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Skye, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Skye's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Skye was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Skye’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Skye’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Skye’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
