About this Dog
Margot is almost 2 years old. She’s a mixed breed, and has inherited a Frenchie personality with a Labrador body. She is a wonderful and loving dog to the right people. Unfortunately though, a combination of serial lockdowns and lack of socialisation have made her wary and distrustful of people she doesn’t know. She has been displaying fear aggression on occasion. She has worked with a behaviourist and is responding well. However, our family had financially been hit very hard by the pandemic. While we are able to keep and care for a dog without reactivity issues, the added time and expense that she requires is prohibitive for us. We are beyond heartbroken, but feel that her best chance would be to find a loving home with adults who are able to put in the time and effort. I promise that if you are able to you will get back so much and more.

How will Margot receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Margot, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Margot's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Margot was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Margot’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Margot’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Margot’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
