About this Dog
**Meet Obi! 🐾**
Obi is a sweet, affectionate, high-energy boy who absolutely loves attention and being petted. He is crate trained, house trained, gets along well with other dogs, and does well with kids.
He loves to run and play and definitely has a lot of energy. When he gets excited, he gets the zoomies and may accidentally knock things over, including small children, so he may be a better fit for a home with older kids or a family that understands his enthusiasm.
Obi can also be a little sensitive when he is nervous or overly excited. He occasionally has an excited/nervous pee accident and has developed a funny nervous habit where he "humps" the air. These behaviors seem to be anxiety or excitement related and are not aggressive.
Obi would do best with an active, patient family who can give him plenty of exercise, love, and attention. He is a goofy, loving boy who just wants to be close to his people and be loved. ❤️

How will Obi receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Obi, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Obi's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Obi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Obi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Obi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Obi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
