All of our adoptable animals are up to date on routine vaccinations, microchipped and spayed or neutered. If the animal is too young a certificate for the spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee. Please CLICK HERE to complete our online adoption application. Many of our animals can be seen at our adoption center located at 5820 Richmond Rd, Texarkana, TX on Saturdays between 10 am - 3 pm. To make arrangements to meet any of our animals, please call us at 1-877-525-4825, option 2. Texarkana Animal League is a 501c3 non profit and all donations are tax deductible. Macy and her siblings were abandoned in a cardboard box in freezing temperatures outside of CCAPS animal shelter in Magnolia, Ar. They are sweet and playful and love toys now! When we first received them, they were shy and unsure of people and toys but now they love both and will soon be ready to find their furever homes :) They will stay small and be closer to the size of a chihuahua rather than the size of a rat terrier. we believe they are a mix of the two breeds.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Macy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Macy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Macy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Macy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Macy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
