About this Dog
Meet CONNIE! Hi there! My name is Connie, and I am about 2 years old. lam a Mastiff, Great Dane, Boxer, and Lab mix. I was found roaming the streets in Houston this February. I was rescued by animal control and have been with my foster family in Magnolia ever since. lam the sweetest dog you will ever meet! I just love everyone. And, l am great with other dogs, too. I have shown NO reaction to my foster family's barn cats (I am on a leash when I meet the cats). I am quiet, as ! do not bark very much. I am super smart! I know how to sit and lay down. I weighed a mere 38 lbs., and I was essentially starving to death in February. Today, I weigh a whopping 80 lbs.! I have had entropion surgery, a cryo procedure to remove my extra eye lashes that were causing a corneal ulcer, and cherry eye repair. I have 100% healed from these surgeries. I may need another cryo procedure in the future to remove any extra eye lashes that may possibly grow back. I will always need to have 2 different lubricating drops put in my eyes 2 times per day, most likely, the rest of my life. But this is very easy to do.I have lots of energy, so l will need to be adopted by an active family or individual. I am an awesome dog & love everyone I meet! Please consider adopting me today!

Adopt Connie and Receive Connie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Connie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Connie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Connie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Connie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Connie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Connie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Connie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Connie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
