About this Cat
Meet Arden – The Biscuit-Baking, Back-Climbing Snugglebug Arden is a 1.5-year-old boy with a huge heart and a soft soul. Originally adopted and then returned, Arden is still trying to figure out what went wrong—he’s a little confused and shy, but absolutely worth the wait. Once Arden warms up (and he will), he transforms into a full-on cuddle machine. He loves affection, head pets, and will loudly purr his appreciation. One of Arden’s signature moves is climbing onto your back and going to work kneading biscuits. Yes, he bakes on you. You’ve been warned—and blessed. Personality Highlights: Shy at first, but bonds deeply once comfortable Loud purrer and affectionate cuddle buddy Loves to knead—especially on your back! Great with small dogs (even won over a dog that “hated” cats!) Previously did well with other cats Best with adults or older kids due to his shy nature Feeding Needs: Arden is a bit of a food critic. He eats wet food only (Fancy Feast or Heritage Ranch preferred). He will not eat dry food—and will tell you all about it with a pitiful meow that sounds suspiciously like, “Mommy, are we poor?” Arden is ready for a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the sweet, silly soul he is. If you’re patient and gentle, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, loving companion who will never let your back go unbaked. Apply to adopt Arden today—and prepare for biscuits. Lots of them.

Adopt Arden and Receive Arden's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Arden's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Arden's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Arden, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Arden's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Arden was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Arden’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Arden’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Arden’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
