Kane's my name - fun's my game. I am a sweet boy, a bit shy at first. I am cautious meeting new people, but once I warm up, I am your best friend. I am crate trained, although I have never had to spend more than 4 hours in a crate during the day. I know sit and walk great on a leash. My mom is a super hugger, and I know if I sit when she opens my crate, I get an extra big hug and love from her. I love to cuddle. I am famous for my attack hug. Just when you least expect it! I need the companionship of another dog to bring out my best adorable personality. I am very smart and will learn quickly. I thrive on positive reinforcement and affection. I love to play with my foster siblings. My favorite game is chasing the water hose. I am up to date with vaccinations, neutered and microchipped so you can't loose me. I am a bit timid with strangers and will take a little time to adjust to my new home, but I promise to be the best dog ever once I know I can trust you. Small children scare me, so I would like to have older, considerate children in the home. I am looking for a forever family. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kane was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kane’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kane’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kane’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
