About this Cat
Sunny is one of a kind. A philosopher in fur, she is a very sweet, calm, and thoughtful kitten. Born in a backyard shed to a loving feral mom, Sunny proved to be the genius of her litter. She skillfully avoided capture for an entire week, cleverly using her tiny paw to pull food from the trap without ever stepping inside. Eventually, her curiosity and love for her family brought her back to join her siblings—and that’s when her foster journey began. (Sunny’s mom has since been spayed, returned to her territory, and is now lovingly cared for by the community.) Sunny is a quiet strategist. She doesn’t rush into things—she thinks them through. When she was first introduced to her foster's large family dog, she didn’t panic or hide. Instead, she gently rolled a toy ball toward the sleeping pup, then casually approached, pretending to be interested only in the toy. When she reached them both, she sweetly tapped the ball… then the dog’s paw, earning trust with grace and confidence. She loves being pet and will start purring the moment you touch her—though she is cautious and may take a moment to warm up to new people. Once she does, you’ll find a devoted, affectionate, and incredibly intelligent companion. Sunny is the type of kitten who will bond deeply and bring calm joy to the right home. Sunny’s markings are beautiful—she has a striking marble pattern on her fur and charming little white mittens on her paws. (Please see the photos—apple included for scale!) Sunny has had first vaccines, microchip, flea preventive, etc. -and his next vaccines and neutering is all included in the small adoption fee.

Adopt Sunny and Receive Sunny's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sunny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sunny's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sunny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sunny's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sunny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sunny’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sunny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sunny’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
