Oliver was found at someone's front door at just 4 weeks old after a storm that separated him from his mom and siblings. He was scared, a little worse for wear, and shy at first, but with some TLC, cuddles, and a lot of food, he's become the perfect lap kitten. He's silly, athletic, sweet, playful, and very affectionate, purring as soon as you start petting him and sometimes giving kisses! His favorite toys are q-tips and feather wands, but he has enough imagination to make anything a toy if he's able to chase and/or bunny kick it. He likes to play hide and seek and tag with his foster family, but when they're busy, he'll scamper up and down the hallway at full speed. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oliver Twist was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oliver Twist’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Oliver Twist’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oliver Twist’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
